Influencing Others through Love & Passion

“Everything is what it is. And then, it will be what you make it.” – Pat Summit

I had the honor to spend time with Jack Canfield who interviewed me on my book, “The Wisdom of Love in Business” formerly known as “Feet to the Fire”
We had such a great time diving into the value of the book and how my stories and lessons have helped so many people in their personal and professional development. Thank you, Jack.

Authors Kathy Gardarian with Tinker Lindsay share a transformational tale of personal and spiritual success

Original press release for “Feet to the Fire” launched in 2018

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — For some women, passion, commitment and determination are powerful tools to achieving success. For Kathy Gardarian, these three describe a way of life. With the desire to share her journey of the challenges and the ultimate feat of creating a successful company, she released “TFeet to the Fire: Finding My Soul in Success”. This memoir, with Tinker Lindsay, tells a transformational tale about a woman who learned to find her soul while climbing the ladder of success.

In this new book, Gardarian recounts how she learned to be brave and to invite deep change while tolerating acute discomfort. She shares her lifelong business challenge: to be a capable woman who proved her personal drive could create a highly successful company using love as a motivational tool. She also sought to defy the traditional male business influences who asserted her that she could not succeed without a man.

“I am sharing stories of how bringing spirit, ethics, love and conscious capitalism is a recipe for success,” Gardarian says. “The balanced feminine energy is so needed right now, and I talk about how courageous woman can use their genius and passion to transform business into powerful centers of value for the greater good.”

Although business has been the furnace that forged her life, Gardarian chooses spiritual transformation as her passion and vocation. Over time, she has come to understand that the two can go hand in hand – “not just can, but should.” Using the tools of humility, humor and wisdom, she offers an alternate path to prosperity to the readers.

Through “Feet to the Fire” the authors extend their encouragement to those who are struggling to find a balance between financial and spiritual success. They hope one woman’s life story will serve as a catalyst for insight, growth and self-realization.

What does the customer want?

Seems like a simple question to which every successful business should know the answer. But in the past three years, many entrepreneurs who thought they knew the answer have had to rethink their response.

It’s still the right question, but what the recession made clear is that the answer is never final. Three women who have shown a consistent ability to come up with fresh answers will be honored at the 15th annual Remarkable Women Awards presented by the National Association of Women Business Owners Orange County on Oct. 5 at the Hilton Hotel in Costa Mesa. Between 750 and 800 people are expected to attend.

Last week I had the opportunity to attend the Leaders of Integrity leadership development breakfast program series presented by Ethical Edge in Costa Mesa. The theme of this event was “Building Trust Through Connection” via the principles addressed in Dr. Henry Cloud’s book, Integrity: The Courage To Meet The Demands of Reality. The event was particularly special, as our Executive Vice President, David Marino, had been invited to serve as a panelist alongside Cynthia Burnham, who spoke on the topic of empathy , and Kathy Gardarian who spoke on the topic of vulnerability.
